Hunan Children's Hospital, founded in June 1987, is a 3A-grade children's hospital in Changsha. Equipped with 1,800 beds and staffed by 1,700 employees, the hospital has 36 clinical departments and nine medical labs. The Pediatric ICU (PICU) is a key national clinical department, with the departments of Internal Medicine-Pediatrics, Surgery, Infectious Diseases, Rehabilitation, and Nursing being at the key provincial level. 

So far, the hospital has set up the Hunan Provincial Pediatric Emergency Center, Hunan Provincial Treatment and Rehabilitation Center of Pediatric Cerebral Palsy, Hunan Provincial Center of Adolescent Medicine, Hunan Provincial Prevention and Control Center of Pediatric Optometry, Amblyopia, and Strabismus.
