The Affiliated Success Hospital of Xiamen University (the 174th Hospital of the Chinese People's Liberation Army) is a general third-grade military hospital integrating medical treatment, teaching, R&D, health care and rehabilitation.

With a building area of more than 100,000 square meters, the hospital provides 1,200 beds and boasts comprehensive medical facilities worth 400 million yuan ($62.8 million).

The hospital employs more than 1,300 faculty and staff, including more than 400 experts with deputy senior or senior titles, 200 with masters or doctoral degrees, and more than 50 experts with a rank of deputy chairman or above in specialized committees of the national army and the Nanjing Military Region.
