Xiamen's cultural and creative industries have undergone rapid development as the municipal government proposed the strategy of strengthening Xiamen in culture six years ago.
As the important carrier of such industries, the coastal city's cultural and creative industry parks have also flourished.
Longshan Cultural and Creative Industry Park, the largest one of its kind in Fujian province, is dedicated to cross-Straits exchanges and creative design projects.
The industry park has attracted more than 570 enterprises, generated approximately 10 billion yuan ($1.58 billion) and offered 4,000 employment opportunities since its establishment ten years ago.
Longshan industry park is transformed from local obsolete factories, which has now become a model for the establishment of cultural and creative industry parks across Xiamen and even Fujian province.
Renovated from outdated Huamei Cigarettes Factory, the Huamei Space has organized and undertaken hundreds of activities to improve its popularity since its operation in 2014.
Up to now, a total of 109 cultural and creative enterprises have settled in the industry park.

Aotou's "parlour" is about to be completed in the industry park, covering an area of more than 10,000 square meters and will be used for the Fujian Creative Center of Chinese Artists Association, art gallery, and Aotou's planning library.
