Shenyang aviation expo to open in August

The 5th Shenyang International Aviation Expo will be held at Taoxian International Airport and Faku Caihu Airport in Shenyang, capital of Liaoning province, from Aug 17 to 20, according to a press conference held on March 28.

The expo, organized by China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) and Shenyang municipal government will invite the world’s major manufacturers of aircraft, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), and aircraft engines from home and aboard to participate in the event.

As the largest airshow in China's northeast, the expo will feature aerobatic performances and exhibitions of general aviation products as well as medical equipment for in-flight emergencies.

Forums focused on topics such as cooperation with Shenyang aviation companies, promotion of aviation projects, and air rescue will also be held during the event. Professionals from the industry will gather together to exchange ideas on the issues highlighted by the forums.

The airshow, established in 2013, has been a biennial event since 2016. It has been successfully held four times, achieving fruitful results in promoting the development of the general aviation industry in Shenyang.

The 7th Shenyang Faku International Flight Conference will be held during the same period.
