Baotou welcomes new festival

The first Yellow River Tourism & Cultural Festival of Baotou kicked off on April 5, 2018, in the Yellow River Ballad ecological and cultural park of Baotou, Inner Mongolia autonomous region.

The festival aims to bring tourists leisure and entertainment with activities including a carnival, an exhibition of agricultural products, a drone show, an opening ceremony for the Yellow River Ballad Museum (second phase), unveiling ceremony of a study base, inauguration ceremony for young journalists of Baotou Daily, and a charity sale of paintings and calligraphy.

The event is expected to boost Baotou’s cultural tourism and enhance public understanding of Yellow River culture.
