Jilin Wu La Theme Park

Founded in 2009, Jilin Wu La is a park adjacent to the Songhua River. Its theme is the history of the river and the folk culture of people living alongside it.

Visitors will be impressed by performance programs which are about the history of the Songhua River culture. The performances are created and given by the teams who performed for the opening ceremony of the Beijing 2008 Olympics.

The performances are about the folk customs along the river and ancient legends passed from generation to generation.

Main scenic spots in the park include the Desheng Ancient Gate, the Guardian of the Auspicious Dragon and the Ancient Navy by the River, the Arbalest crossbow, the Tianhe Ancient Ferry, the Fortification of Eight Banners, Wu La Residential Houses, Ancient Canon, Tasting the Royal Wine, the Shipyard Cliff and the Forest Cabin.

In addition to the wonderful performances, visitors can enjoy various theme landscapes, and taste local cuisine such as Manchu hotpot.
