When purchasing goods or receiving services, customers have the right to require merchants to provide quality assurance as follows:
(1) The merchants should ensure the normal use of goods or the acceptance of services, and the goods or services provided possess proper quality, performance, use and expiration date.
(2) Goods or services provided should be flawless; but there are exceptions: customers have been aware of the defects and flaws before they purchase goods or receive services, and such defects and flaws do not violate the mandatory provisions.
(3) If merchants show quality of their goods or services by such ways as advertising, product description and physical samples, then they shall guarantee that the actual quality of the exhibit quality of their goods or services provided.
