International Division, High School Affiliated to Fudan University has a Chinese curriculum and a Western curriculum.
The Chinese curriculum runs from Grades 9 to 12 (pre-senior one, senior one, senior two and senior three). In order to provide specialized instruction for each student, our school adopted small class sizes, grading and a hierarchical teaching model, help students to prepare them for promotion to China's elite universities. There are about 80% students have been admitted to China's elite universities, such as Tsinghua University, Peking University, Fudan University and Shanghai Jiaotong University.
The Western curriculum is provided for foreign students in Grades 1 to 12 who live in China, which is modeled on European and American education methods and practices, infusing Chinese traditional culture throughout. The Western curriculum adopted small class sizes teaching model. Grade 11 and 12 students are provided for studying Advanced Placement (AP) courses or the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IBDP). The school has been duly authorized by the College Board, the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO), Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), SAT Test Center, and the ACT Test Center, as well as the member school of Shanghai School Sports Association (SSSA). Most graduate students have been admitted to top universities abroad, such as: University California – Berkeley, University of Southern California, New York University, Carnegie Mellon University, Imperial College (London), University of Hong Kong and University of Toronto.
