The Zhongguancun Standardized Service Industry Alliance was inaugurated in Beijing on March 29.
The alliance aims to integrate service resources and implement national policies, thereby sharing advantages and boosting industry development.
Supported by the Standardization Administration of the People's Republic of China (SAC), the alliance, with nine co-founders and over 30 members, was guided by the Administrative Committee of Zhongguancun Science Park, the Beijing Municipal Administration of Quality and Technology Supervision and the Beijing Municipal Commission of Economy and Information Technology.
At the preparatory meeting earlier that day, the alliance constitution was approved, and members confirmed its role in bridging government and enterprises, conducting relative research, balancing production and demand and organizing personnel training.
"It is a significant move for Zhongguancun to set up the alliance," said Cui Gang, deputy director of the SAC.
The alliance will bring together forces, investigate market demands, improve service quality, formulate industry standards and implement promotional schemes in the future.
