Photo exhibition records cherry blossom beauty

Though the annual lifespan of cherry blossoms is brief, their short-lived beauty is forever captured in the form of photography each year.

A large-scale photography exhibition named "The Most Beautiful Cherry Blossom Resort" opened at the Worldhotel Grand Juna in Wuxi, Jiangsu province on March 27.

Jointly organized by the Wuxi Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, the Wuxi publicity department, and the Wuxi Federation of Literary and Art Circles, the exhibition displays 100 stunning photos that record the poetic cherry blossoms and tourists admiring the flowers.

The photos will also be displayed at the Yuantouzhu (Turtle Head Isle) scenic spot during the Wuxi International Cherry Blossom Festival which will last until April 22.

Dubbed one of the three best places in the world to view cherry blossoms, Turtle Head Isle is China's single largest cherry plantation, covering more than 650,000 square meters. Over 30,000 cherry trees of nearly 100 different varieties have been planted in the area.
