A Sino-Russian oil painting exhibition opened at Shenyang Daily Art Gallery, Shenyang, Northeast China’s Liaoning province, on March 24, attracting more than 1,000 visitors from China and Russia.
Jointly hosted by Liaoning’s Sino-Russian friendship association, the art committee of Liaoning artists association, and the Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Shenyang, the exhibition was themed around the Belt and Road.
More than 80 oil paintings by seven famous artists were on exhibition –– three artists from China and four from Russia, with the paintings centered on individuals, scenery and animals.
A Sino-Russian culture and art seminar was also held the same day.
The exhibition will last until March 29.
