L/G service offered for foreign ships in Round Hainan Regatta

Sanya recently provided letters of guaranteed service for two foreign sailing ships that came to Hainan to compete in the ninth Round Hainan Regatta. 

To help overseas ships solve immigration difficulties including high security deposits and tedious procedures, Sanya Financing Guarantee Company, Sanya Port Authority and Visun Royal Yacht Club jointly established a yacht service company last December to develop and create entry guarantee core businesses. So far, the company has offered guarantees for three overseas yachts, which strongly attracted more to enter the country and accelerated the area's yacht industrial development.

Local government also optimized policies and improved services to strengthen control and supervision of the yachting industry.

The Round Hainan Regatta kicked off at the Sanya Serenity Marina on March 25. Forty-two teams, the highest number of participants ever, from around the globe took part in the domestic high-level competition. They will stop at Lingshui Li autonomous county, Wanning and Haikou during the 820 nautical mile journey. 

The regatta is jointly organized by the General Administration of Sport of China and the People's Government of Hainan Province. As a high-end international sailing race, it will promote the tourism of Hainan Island and improve its popularity around the world.
