Shanghai's Lujiazui Financial City green finance commission will work with UK's Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership to build a sustainable development research and talent training base, authorities announced at a roundtable seminar co-organized by Lujiazui and the City of London on March 24.
The training base targets talented personnel in financial fields such as green finance and sustainable development, according to Zhou Haidong, head of brand and public relation department at Lujiazui Management Bureau.
Talents selected include financial experts from top universities such as Fudan University and Tongji University as well as financial enterprises and institutions.
The seminar, attended by dozens of Chinese and British officials, company and institution leaders, is expected to enhance China-UK cooperation in green finance, Fintech, and financial market.
