The First Affiliated Hospital of Harbin Medical University

The First Affiliated Hospital of Harbin Medical University was founded in 1949. It is a comprehensive medical institute combining medical services, education and scientific research. It has several affiliated hospitals, which specialize in areas including hematologic malignancies, gastroenterology, ophthalmology, angiocardiopathy, and stomatology.

It is the largest hospital in Heilongjiang province, with advanced technologies and equipment. The hospital covers more than 600,000 square meters, with 68 departments, 121 treatment areas and 6,496 beds. At present, it has 5,733 employees, providing high-quality medical services to the public.

The hospital is also a state-level training base, with two majors: clinical medicine and stomatology. Currently, there are 77 doctoral supervisors, 337 graduate student supervisors and 3,000 students. It also provides training courses for nearly 500 doctors annually.
