Founded in 1987, Nanyang Institute of Technology (NIT) is an institution for higher education located in Nanyang, Henan province.
Covering an area of 1.136 million square meters, it has 400 faculty members and 22,000 students coming from different provinces and cities across the country.
The university has 16 schools with a wide range of disciplines, including science, engineering, management, literature, economics, education, law, medicine and art.
It has cooperative programs with Victoria University of Wellington in New Zealand and Northampton University in the UK, and exchange programs with universities in the US, Japan and Taiwan.
