Established in 1907, Nanyang Normal University (NYNU) is located in Nanyang, a famous city which boasts a number of outstanding historical figures.
Covering more than 1.5 million square meters, the university stands next to the world-renowned Wuhou Memorial Temple, and commands a broad view of Dushan Mountain to the north and Baihe River to the south.
The university has 23 schools and one public education department with faculties in science, engineering, humanities, law, history, philosophy, economics, management, education and art.
Over the past few years, the university has forged partnerships with prestigious universities from home and abroad, including Brenau University in the US, Kyonggi University in South Korea, Curtin University in Perth, Western Australia, the University of South Australia, Zhengzhou University, Central China Normal University and Southwest University.
