Yearly tuition scholarships are provided by the People's Government of Guizhou Province to excellent overseas students currently studying in Guizhou University (GZU). The scholarship will not be given in cash and can only be used as a part of the student's tuition in the next academic year.
Eligibility
Non-Chinese citizens in good health;
Currently registered students at GZU (study duration not less than one year);
Not currently receiving other scholarships;
Doctoral candidates should be aged under 40, master's candidates under 35, bachelor students under 30, Chinese language students under 60;
Outstanding academic and general performance

Application Procedure
1. GZU shall inform the students when the scholarship is open for application, and applicants must then submit the following documents:
Application Form for GZ Provincial Scholarships for Overseas Students
Valid photocopy of passport
Notarized diploma of highest education received
Valid health check records
Degree applicants should provide a study plan or research proposal
2. GZU and Department of Education of Guizhou Province shall verify and review the applications and review the applications and determine the scholarship winners.
Applicable Scholarships
Chinese Government Scholarship includes
(1) A fee waiver for registration and tuition
(2) Free on-campus accommodation
(3) Medical insurance
(4) Monthly living allowance: 3,000 yuan for master's students and 3,500 yuan for doctoral students
Confucius Institute Scholarship includes
(1) A fee waiver for registration and tuition
(2) Free on-campus accommodation
(3) Medical insurance
(4) Monthly living allowance: 2,500 yuan
Guizhou Provincial Government Scholarship includes a fee waiver for tuition
Guizhou University Scholarship includes
(1) A graded waiver for tuition
(2) Special grants for excellent students or special contributions
