Qingdao No 1 International School of Shandong Province (QISS)

Qingdao No 1 International School of Shandong province (QISS) opened its doors on August 16, 2007 to students from Pre-K to Grade 12. It is currently enrolling approximately 300 students from over 30 countries.

QISS is accredited by WASC (Western Association of Schools and Colleges) and is a member of ACAMIS (Association of Chinese and Mongolian International Schools).

After briefly being housed in the international wing of the prestigious Qingdao No 2 Middle School, QISS became the cornerstone of the brand-new Qingdao City Construction and Investment Group’s international education park located in Laoshan district of Qingdao. The school began the 2010-2011 year at the new campus with state of the art facilities.

The school is designed to provide a high quality and secular English-based educational program that develops the core character traits of: vitality, courage, sensitivity, compassion, and intelligence.
