Located in the county seat of Nandan, this distillery rose to prominence during the Ming and Qing Dynasties (1368-1911). It has experienced outstanding success ever since 1956, when it first began producing liquor on a mass scale.
With its output of Luzhou liquor, Maotai liquor and rice-flavored liquor reaching about 20,000 tons per year, it is currently the biggest production base of high-quality liquor in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region.
A suitable climate, excellent water, quality grain and unique distillation techniques all contribute to the high quality of the liquor produced by Danquan Distillery, which is known as the "Best Liquor in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region".
