Gaoyou High-Tech Industrial Development Zone

Located at the west part of Gaoyou Lake, the Gaoyou High-Tech Industrial Development Zone was approved and established by the Jiangsu provincial government in May 2016. 

The zone features high-tech and characteristic industries such as green lighting, wire and cable, and solar photovoltaic power generation. Currently there are 145 industrial enterprises above designated scale, 36 national high-tech enterprises, 70 private technology enterprises, and 18 provincial R&D centers at the zone. 

The zone has also gained a number of national and provincial honorary titles, such as the special cable production base with support of national "Torch Program", China street lamp manufacturing base, Jiangsu green lighting science and technology park, Jiangsu special cable science and technology park, Northern Jiangsu science and technology demonstration area, Jiangsu innovative pilot towns and villages, and Jiangsu characteristic industrial cluster.
