On-site consultation on International Consumer Rights Day

On International Consumer Rights Day on March 15 civil servants from Yangzhou, Jiangsu province provided on-site consultation services to raise the general public's awareness in identifying counterfeit products. 

Some 260 officers from 40 government departments, such as the municipal industrial and commercial bureau, the municipal food and drug administration, and the local power, gas and water supply administrations attended the event. 

They set up information desks at the local Libao Square, handed out nearly 10,000 promotion booklets, and received inquiries and complaints from many local residents. 

Parallel sessions were also held at the city's subordinate districts, counties and development zones.
