Steve Hyman, a scholar from the American Academy of Arts and Sciences and director of Stanley Center for Psychiatric Research at the famous biomedical and genomic research center Broad Institute, paid a visit to Shenzhen, Guangdong province on March 13.
The American scholar met with Gao Zimin, vice mayor of Shenzhen, to discuss cooperation with the southern Chinese city on a brain science innovation institute. Commending Shenzhen's strength in the field, Steve vowed to team with his Chinese colleagues to build a first-rate innovation platform in Shenzhen centering on non-human primate brain science and brain technologies.
