China's industrial output posted steady growth in the first two months of this year, up by 7.2 percent year-on-year, 1 percentage point higher than in December, official data showed Wednesday.
Fixed-asset investment growth was 7.9 percent in January and February combined, 0.7 percentage point higher than the whole of 2017, according to the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS).
Retail sales increased by 9.7 percent year-on-year in the same period, 0.3 percentage point higher than in December, the data showed.
