Hunan Environment Protection Technology Industrial Park

Hunan Environment Protection Technology Industrial Park is a provincial development zone approved by Hunan Provincial People's Government and invested and built by Yuhua District Government with a planned area of 15 square kilometers. HEPTIP officially started in January of 2003 and is the youngest among the Two Zones and Nine Parks of Changsha and also the one with the most potential and aftereffect.

In the last five years, infrastructure in the Park has been progressing strongly and fixed asset investment has exceeded Rmb 4.2 billion. A traffic network of five vertical and five horizontal highways are formed in the core area of 6 square kilometers and all utilities gradually available. 74 projects including Midea Bus, Xiaoguang Science, Changsha Vocational Education Base, Hunan China Tobacco Headquarters Base, Wuhan East Lake Hi-Tech Group are introduced in the Park and investment has exceeded Rmb 10 billion. The demonstration effect of investment promotion is displayed here and three backbone industries of automobile, engineering machinery and environment protection are of preliminary shape. In 2007, 40 companies put into production in the Park and industrial output value exceeded Rmb 2.1 billion and revenue reached Rmb 220 million.
