Binhai Scenic Area

The Binhai Scenic Area is located in Zhifu district, Yantai, with its west end neighboring Yantai Mountain and north end adjacent to Zhifu Bay. Renowned as the "living room" of Yantai, Binhai Scenic Area is a landmark for sightseeing, entertainment and major activities. It consists of a plaza, sightseeing area, shopping street and high-end business zone, and integrates historical culture and modern civilization.

The sightseeing area, plaza and shopping street are in the northern part of the Binhai Scenic Area. There are a music fountain in the plaza and a parking lot underground covering an area of 15,000 square meters. The lot can accommodate more than 400 cars. As one of the most popular places for entertainment in the city, the shopping street has attracted various businesses, including bars, cafés, teahouses, and Chinese and foreign restaurants.

A high-end business zone lies at the south end of the area, where 11 high-rise buildings are planned for construction. With a total floor area of 420,000 square meters, these buildings will be home to companies engaged in business trade, tourism, services and finance. The World Trade Center, with a designed height of 323 meters, will become the highest building in Shandong.
