AWE 2018 takes off in Shanghai

Appliance & Electronics World Expo 2018 (AWE2018) took place at Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC) on March 8. 

According to the information released on Pudong's website, the number of the exhibition halls will reach 10, the area 130,000 square meters. It is expected that the four-day long event will attract 250,000 visitors.

Over 800 well-known enterprises displayed their latest developments and products in fields such as household appliances, consumer electronics, intelligent hardware, artificial intelligence, and the Internet. The enterprises present include Haier, Midea, and Huawei. The products on display include white household appliances, kitchen and bath appliances, wearable devices, intelligent platforms and components.

The enterprises displayed their innovative products which are related to "smart life". For example, how the settling of accounts and the operation of logistics can be done without human interference is demonstrated to show the combination of big data, artificial intelligence, and Internet of Things.
