Output value of Hohhot enterprises above designated size rises in 2017

The output value of enterprises above the designated size in Hohhot, the capital of Inner Mongolia autonomous region, reached 134.68 billion yuan ($21.3 billion) in 2017, a year-on-year growth of 20 percent and the highest rate in three years.

The added value of Hohhot's enterprises above the designated size saw a 6.1 percent increase in 2017, placing it fourth in the region with a 3 percent higher increase than Inner Mongolia's average.

The municipal government made a concerted effort to pursue steady growth and industrial informationization over the past year.

More than 58 major projects with investment of over 100 million yuan began construction in 2017, with 16 projects commencing operations.

In addition, Hohhot had 15 more enterprises above the designated size last year.
