Tumd Right Banner in Baotou, Inner Mongolia autonomous region, marked Lantern Festival which fell on March 2 this year with artistic and folk performances, according to Baotou Daily.
Lantern Festival, also known as Yuanxiao Festival, is one of China’s traditional festivals, falling on the 15th day of the 1st lunar month. It is the first full moon of a new year, which symbolizes unity and perfection. The festival marks the official end of the Spring Festival holiday period.
