110 voluntary tree planting bases to open in Changsha

Changsha Municipal Committee of Afforestation issued the 2018 General Planning on the Voluntary Tree Planting for Changsha Residents on Mar 7.

Around this year's Arbor Day, Changsha will establish 10 municipal voluntary tree planting bases and 100 at county and township level, as part of Changsha's three-year afforestation campaign.

A local surnamed Li living in Xinkaipu Street was looking for a good place to plant trees. As the Arbor Day is approaching, he wanted to have an outing with his kids this spring and teach them how to plant trees.

Changsha Municipal Committee of Afforestation is expected to encourage nearly four million residents to plant a total of 12 million trees in this year's tree planting activities.
