Qingshan district of Baotou, North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region, held a series of activities to mark Lantern Festival which will fell on March 2 this year, according to Baotou Daily.
Lantern Festival, also known as Yuanxiao Festival, is one of the traditional festivals in China, falling on the 15th day of the 1st lunar month. Celebrations for the festival include admiring the full moon, setting off fireworks and solving riddles written on lanterns.
