Yixing Marathon to kick off on April 15

The first Yixing International Marathon will be held on April 15 in Yixing, Jiangsu province, the hometown of purple clay.

The Yixing Marathon, designed to be "the most beautiful marathon course in China", passes through many scenic spots and historical landmarks, including Tuanjiu Lake, Dongjiu Lake and Longbeishan Forest Park.

The Yixing Marathon allows participants to choose between the full marathon (42.195 km), half marathon (21.095 km), and mini marathon. This allows both professional and amateur runners to take part in the event.

To ensure an enjoyable experience and the safety of runners, race organizers have restricted the number of entrants to 10,000 this year, with 3,000 places allocated for the full marathon, 3,000 for the half marathon, and 4,000 for the mini marathon.

Those who wish to take part in the Yixing Marathon can sign up at the official website starting March 5, and placement will be based on order of payment.
