The kaleidoscopic evening landscape that promoted Zhuhai well during the recent CCTV Spring Festival Gala is about to be extended to the north and over four bridges. It is, city officials say, "designed to highlight the warmth of nature and enhance the image of Zhuhai."
Up next is the shoreline from north of Tangjiawan to south of Gongbei Bay. Within half a year, the Zhuhai, Niwanmen, Changsheng, and Qianshan bridges will project their distinct structures, attractiveness, and cultural undertones in both pastels and vibrancy. Planners project that "the night scenery in Zhuhai will usher in a qualitative leap."
The format is similar to that of the first phase, which was completed before the Lunar New Year. Its dazzling illuminations were seen by millions across the country as Zhuhai was one of the featured sites of the popular television spectacular.
Hengqin Financial Island
What was shown on TV and can be seen nightly today are the parti-colored illuminations of Zhuhai Opera House and Yeli Island in Xiangzhou, Lovers Avenue along Xianglu Bay, Fisher Maiden statue in Jida, Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge in Gongbei, and Shizimen Business District in Hengqin New Area. Designed to complement architectural characteristics and coastal landscapes, variegated lighting sweeps over traffic and pedestrian lanes while enhancing both natural and urban sights.
The implementation plan encompasses design, product supply, and construction. Phase 1 entailed more than 20,000 linear LED floodlights and 8,000 spotlights, all reduced in size to create a softer atmosphere.

On the tech side, NVC independent intelligent lighting control systems and high-performance illuminant modules are used. They are said to have fine illumination and color effects. In addition to sophisticated inverted installment, flexible but reliable customized spectrum technology also displays optic artistry.
Also lauded is design, which not only stresses architectural characteristics of differing road segments, but also ensures a uniform visual performance.
Coastlines, greenbelts, and rooftops have various designs, together presenting a multi-layered perspective. Main lights are positioned strategically near the shore, illuminating greenery, slow-traffic pathways, and the city skyline.
