Intl magic festival wraps up in Shenzhen

The 2018 Shenzhen International Magic Festival, a one-month event featuring a series of jaw-dropping magic shows from magicians across the world, ended on Feb 28 in Shenzhen Happy Valley.

The event started on Feb 2 with a special magic competition for children and a photo exhibition revolving around magic. It culminated with the 15th Shenzhen Happy Valley Magic Festival from Feb 15 to 26, which saw master magicians from America, Canada, Britain, France, Germany and Spain performing supernatural feats in front of Shenzhen citizens.

Another highlight of the event was an exchange activity for young magicians held on Feb 26 to 28 and a special magic performance given by magicians from China, Japan, Russia and Ukraine at Haiya Theater in Baoan district. 

The event made use of live streaming technology, which allowed fans who couldn't attend personally to see the shows and give input. According to the organizers, more than 2 million people have watched the live video and related reports, making the event a major hit for Shenzhen.
