The Ministry of Commerce and the Jilin government signed an agreement on supporting construction of a free trade zone in Jilin and attracting talents to the province on Feb 25.
Jilin Province's Party Secretary Bayin Chaolu said the support from the ministry will benefit international trade and economic growth.
Zhong Shan, minister of commerce, spoke highly of Jilin province's economy and said the ministry will offer supports to help promote the province's culture and products to the world.
According to the agreement, those supports are to include Northeast Asian countries cooperation, encouraging the service and out-sourcing industries, increasing international equipment manufacturing and sharing talents.
