Auto Expo looks to public for theme

The 15th China Changchun International Auto Expo is to open in July at the Changchun International Conference and Exhibition Center.

To promote the Expo and improve the global influence of China's auto manufacturing, the committee of the Expo is now collecting the public's ideas for the theme of this year's event.

2018 is also the 65th anniversary of the establishment of the FAW Group -- one of the oldest and largest auto mobile manufacturers in China, which makes the Expo more attractive than ever.

Changchun, capital of Jilin province, was the cradle of China's auto manufacturing and has been one of the most significant auto bases. It witnessed the development of China's manufacturing industry.

The author of the winning theme will be rewarded with 1,000 yuan ($158.6).

The requirements to the Expo theme are as follows:

1. The theme must show trends and features of the modern automobile industry;

2. Changchun's influence in the automobile industry should be reflected;

3. The theme should highlight the auto city -- Changchun;

4. It should have a simple and unique design;

5. The author's name and telephone number and an explanation of the theme must be included in the submission;

6. The deadline is April 15, 2018.
