Jiuyuan district of Baotou, North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region, attracted investment for 59 projects in 2017, among which 13 have been confirmed, according to a Feb 12 Baotou Daily report.
Among the 59 projects, 12 are in the primary industry of agriculture, 20 in the secondary industry of manufacturing, and 27 are in the tertiary industry, the service sector.
The district signed a total of 20 cooperation agreements with an agreed investment amount of 23.7 billion yuan ($3.72 billion) in the past year.
