Dalian import-export volume reaches 413.22 billion yuan in 2017

Dalian’s import and export volume reached 413.22 billion yuan ($65.45 billion) in 2017, representing a year-on-year growth of 21.66 percent, according to a government work meeting on Feb 24.

The export volume accounted for 174.58 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 8.46 percent, while the import volume reached 238.64 billion yuan, an increase of 33.55 percent.

The actual use of foreign investment reached $3.25 billion, a year-on-year increase of 8.22 percent, accounting for 64 percent of Liaoning province’s total investment.

Total retail sales of consumer goods grew by 9.2 percent to 372.25 billion yuan. For the third consecutive year, the growth rate ranked first in the province.
