Guiyang gives facelift to Jiaxiu Square

To improve infrastructure for local residents, Nanming district in Guiyang, capital of Guizhou province, gave a facelift to Jiaxiu Square, where people take leisurely strolls and do physical exercises, on Feb 9.

The square has been open for about 15 years, so its finishings were worn and its facilities were obsolete. The local authority improved the lighting system, road facade and plants growing around the square.
