The Changchun New Area will focus on developing innovation-driven industry by attracting talents in 2018, according to the Administrative Committee of the Area's Talents Management Reform Zone.
The Committee held a conference on Feb 12 to review the achievements of 2017 and release plans for attracting talents in 2018.
According to the Committee, the Area will promote industrial growth by improving its preferential policies to bring in more talents and encourage innovation and entrepreneurship.
Changchun New Area invested 120 million yuan ($18.97 million) to cultivate talents and attracted 240 incubation programs in the past year. More than 7,000 talents from all fields joined projects in the Area.
