Route 3: Hasuhai Ice and Snow Festival

The Fourth Hasuhai Ice and Snow Festival opened in Chilechuan grasslands tourist area in Hohhot on Dec 23, 2017, and will run until Feb 28.
The area was one of the earliest tourist initiatives in Inner Mongolia autonomous region to boost winter tourism. Factors including a moderate climate, grasslands, lakes, hot springs and other tourism resources have made the grasslands one of the most popular winter tourist destinations in Hohhot.
The festival features ice engraving, folk performances, ice sports activities and bathing in hot springs, providing tourists with a unique winter experience.
Route 4: Dazhao Plaza – Horinger Snow Park
Horinger Snow Park in Horinger district is also a good place to enjoy winter sports such as ice skating and swimming.
Route 5: Wuchuan Snow Valley

Nadams of Ice and Snow featuring winter sports events like camel riding on snow, began on Dec 23, 2017, at Wuchuan Snow Valley in Hohhot. For most of the events, ethnic elements will be indispensable ingredients, and the local ethnic minorities are expected to showcase their nomadic culture through various activities, performances and costumes.
