Festival fun is just around the corner in Hohhot

Hohhot will promote eight travel routes during the upcoming Spring Festival and Lantern Festival, according to an announcement on Feb 5 by the city's tourism administrative commission.

Here are the travel routes.

One-day travel

Route 1: The Huhtala ice and snow festival

The first Huhtala Snow and Ice Tourism and Culture Festival, which runs from Jan 16 to March 3, includes such attractions as ice and snow sculpture exhibitions, the winter Nadam Fair and a food fair.

Route 2: Dazhao Plaza – Nanhu Wetland Park

The Second Nanhu Ice and Snow Festival at Nanhu Wetlands Park opened on Dec 8 and will run until March. With an area of 12 hectares, Nanhu Wetlands Park is the biggest ice and snow theme park in Hohhot. Visitors can experience winter sports like sledding there.
