Direct flights linking Baotou in Inner Mongolia autonomous region with Tianjin will be increased to three flights daily starting on Feb 12, reports Baotou Daily.
The move, as part of the airport’s efforts to manage the Spring Festival travel rush period, which started on Feb 2 and will last for roughly 40 days, is aimed at providing further convenience to passengers traveling between the two cities.
The additional flights will be operated by Ruili Airlines, a Yunnan-based airline operator, using a Boeing 737.
The added flights will depart Baotou at 12:30 and land in Tianjin at 14:10. The return flight will take off at 15:20 and reach Baotou at 17:00.
