Considered a "Clash of the Titans", the 70-kg final fight saw fierce competition between Marat Grigorian and Superball, the champion of the last Kunlun Fight. Marat proved the better Titan, beating Superball within 29 seconds.

A home-grown boxing event in China, the Kunlun Fight is a world-level competition for professional boxers. It has become the largest organization promoting free boxing in the world and is often screened by a lot of media outlets, including Euro Sport and France.tv.

Guiyang applied for the boxing venue as early as 18 months ago.

The city has been listed as the first forest city in China, a national-level circular economy trial city and a national summer resort.

Sports culture in the city has been adding to those distinctions in recent years, with Guiyang being named host of the 2017 Guiyang International Marathon and honors being rewarded by the General Administration of Sport for its development of mass sports.

With a growing number of world top boxers coming to Guiyang, Guizhou is starting to see itself as the capital of boxing in China.
