Lanterns on display in Shenyang to mark Spring Festival

The opening ceremony for the 2018 Shenyang International Culture Lantern Festival is held at Shenyang Expo Park on Feb 1. With a theme of “spring scenery of the Silk Road”, the festival contains around 100 categories of lanterns along the 5.5-kilometer-long exhibition gallery, depicting the landscape, local conditions and customs of countries along the old Silk Road. The whole exhibition area occupies an area of 1,000 mus (66.67 hectares). [Photo/Xinhua]
