Hexigten Banner in Chifeng has recently promoted ice and snow tourism through various Mongolian ethnic customs including horse racing.
Hexigten Banner, located in northwestern Chifeng, has a national-level geopark called Hexigten Global Geopark, featuring nearly 10 types of geological landforms, including potholes, granite, volcanic rocks, valleys and crater lakes.
In addition to the geological formations, the place is blessed with rolling grasslands, primeval forests and cliff paintings.
