The Guizhou Industry of Publication, Radio, Film and Television IPv6 Deployment Plan was announced on the same day. It was co-released by the Academy of Broadcasting Science (ABS), which is under the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television, the Guizhou Office for Cyberspace Affairs and the Guizhou Provincial Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television.

An IPv6 strategic agreement to promote the upgrading of IPv6 in Guizhou's media industry was also signed between the ABS and Guizhou Broadcasting & TV Information Network Co.

IPv6 refers to the Internet Protocol Version 6 and was designed by the Internet Engineering Task Force to replace the present IPv4. The IPv6 can not only solve the problem of the IPv4 in website number limitation but remove barriers to internet connection for various devices.
