Guizhou prepares for 2018 Spring Festival travel rush

Even though more and more people choose to take trains and planes during the Spring Fesitival travel rush, highways and expressways remain the most important travel channels. It is expected they will handle 67.9 million passengers, accounting for 85 percent of the total, almost equal to last year's number.

To offer better ticket purchasing service, ticket vending locations have been increased to more than 700 in Guizhou. Moreover, passengers are able to track train's information on WeChat at any time. The check-in time for high-speed trains will also be shortened by utilizing new machine technologies, which will add to traffic efficiency.
