'Tianjin Night' held

The World Economic Forum (WEF) held "Tianjin Night" on Jan 24 at the WEF Convention Center.

Tianjin delegates introduced all parts of Tianjin such as its economy and social aspects and its preparations for the upcoming 2018 Summer Davos Forum to domestic and overseas guests.

Swatches from Tianjin Sea-gull, wine from Tianjin Dynasty, Yangliuqing prints, a tea culture ceremony and local snacks attracted and impressed many guests.

Well-known economist and former Deputy President of the International Monetary Fund Zhu Min said, "Tianjin's economy is moving from rapid growth to high-quality development. High-quality development means balanced development, sustainable development and green development." He added that "Tianjin needs to focus on creating a comfortable business environment."
