20 key industrial projects confirmed for 2018

A signing ceremony on Dec 28 in Baotou, Inner Mongolia autonomous region, confirmed the approval of 20 of 2018’s key industrial projects to a value of 105 billion yuan ($16 billion), Baotou Daily reports.

Approved projects include a 60,000-ton ultrapure crystalline silicon facility, a 500,000-ton ferroalloy project, and an industrial material deep processing base.

Zhao Jiangtao, Baotou Party municipal committee secretary, addressed the event and called for further efforts towards industrial transformation and upgrading to regional economic development.
