Ninghe district developing into an industrial highland

In 2017, Ninghe district of Tianjin accelerated construction of the Faw-Volkswagen Northern Base and a related-industries cluster and gathered five leading manufacturers in automobile-related industries.

In 2018, the district will promote coordination of those industries in an attempt to build an industrial highland.

The many enterprises' settling in Ninghe has helped fuel employment and boosts taxes.

To date, Ninghe has introduced 10 Industry-Academy-Research cooperative projects, applied for 636 patents and built a technical center for fruit and vegetable deep-processing in Tianjin. It has also established a workstation for experts and scholars of Minsheng Biotechnology Company, attracted 200 technological enterprises, and built 105 e-commerce services stations in rural areas.

In 2018, the district will accelerate and develop industrial clusters.
